About Double Authentication:
Double Authentication provides another layer of security to your account when it is being logged in. Before enabling Double Authentication, please make sure that a phone number, a Google/Gate authenticator or an email address (at least 2 out of all 3 authentication methods) are linked to your account. With Double Authentication enabled, anyone trying to log in to this account must provide codes from 2 authentication methods, which improves the security of your account by a large margin.
How to enable Double Authentication on website:
Log in to your account. Place your cursor on the top-right profile icon and go to "Security authentication" - “Login authentication Setup". Switch on "Authorize login". Select 2 preferred authentication methods (from SMS code, TOTP and email code) and switch them on.
How to enable Double Authentication on app:
Open Gate.io mobile app and log in to your account. Click on the top-left profile icon and go to "Security Center" - "Login authentication setting" to enable Double authentication.
