About Tezos (XTZ)

Tezos(XTZ)is a multi-functional platform that supports decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts. It was developed by Arthur Breitman, a former Morgan Stanley analyst, with the support of his wife Kathleen Breitman. In 2017, it conducted an initial coin offering (ICO) and raised $232 million. One year after ICO, Tezos launched the beta network in july 2018.

Tezos aims to drive the Web3 revolution. The future of the Internet is built on Tezos - with user participation and governance as the core. Users can interact with each other directly and frictionlessly through decentralized networks, exchange value and interact with various applications without mediation. On Tezos, Web3 can become a truly user-managed and user-focused movement, which is its original intention.

How does Tezos (XTZ) Work?

Tezos can upgrade and improve itself without separating the network protocol into different blockchains. Over time, Tezos proposed changes and completed the upgrade.

In the Tezos network, XTZ is a token for all operations. With the integration of functions such as liquidity proof of stake and on-chain governance, the improvement of throughput also brings a higher level of decentralization. Tezos uses a liquidity proof of stake (LPoS) that fully supports Turing complete contracts. In Tezos network, the process of block generation is called baking, and the validator is called a baker.

The core functions and operating principles of Tezos are as follows:

Liquidity proof of stake (LPoS): Tezos adopts the proof of stake consensus mechanism to maximize the decentralization of governance and encourage all XTZ holders to participate widely. Under the consensus mechanism of LPoS, the validator is mobile, can be expanded with the network, and allows the stake owner to entrust the stake to others.

On-chain governance: all stakers can participate in the agreement governance directly or indirectly through entrustment. Stakers can propose amendments through a voting cycle and finally reach a protocol.

Self correction: the protocol can avoid splitting the network into two different blockchains by "self upgrading". The decision to amend the protocol comes entirely from the stakers in the community and is implemented through an on-chain governance process. Self correction aims to reduce the coordination cost and implementation cost of changing protocols, and promote a smooth transition between network iterations.

What is Tezos (XTZ) ?

Tezos is a public and open-source blockchain protocol, which relies on the consensus of low power consumption and energy saving. The protocol also includes a self correcting governance system that allows continuous improvement while maintaining the integrity of the consensus. This is a rare feature that can eliminate the trouble of hard forks. Tezos is also fundamentally designed to provide code security through formal validation.

Please always remember: if you do not control (protect) your private key, you cannot control (protect) your token. Each user should ensure that he or she takes care when entering private key information anywhere and takes all available security precautions. Any party or software (e. g., wallet) that obtains the private key information can access the tez controlled by the corresponding public key hash.

The law of supply and demand, tokenomics, use case, project roadmap as well as regulations and governance involved would affect the value of Tezos from a long term perspective.
By way of price action: Primarily analyzed via candlestick chart patterns and technical indicators such as MACD, RSI and the bollinger bands, technical analysis forecasts the price of Tezos on the basis that history tends to repeat itself.
