What is Bitgert?

The cryptocurrency industry is full of innovation, as evidenced by the number of new projects, each offering various unique features and functions. Another project set to revolutionize this industry is Bitgert, a blockchain ecosystem championing lightning-speed transactions and no fees.

What is Bitgert?

Bitgert is a platform that provides an affordable and scalable environment for different projects, including NFTs, web3, and DeFi projects. It was hosted on the Binance Smart Chain, but they developed their blockchain and in February 2022, the Brise Chain was launched. Bitgert claims to handle over 100,000 transactions per second, all at zero cost. So far, Bitgert has processed over 25 million transactions, gathering 600,000 users since its inception.

It was designed as a staking platform and a decentralized exchange to provide an alternative to PancakeSwap. It is unclear who founded Bitgert, but its founders, stakeholders, and investors collectively run the company.

History of Bitgert

Bitgert (originally named Bitrise) launched in August 2021. Its native token BRISE was also originally a Binance Smart Chain (BSC)-based token. In December 2021, Bitrise rebranded to Bitgert. This rebrand did not affect the token nor its ticker, and the platform still runs on the Binance Smart Chain.

In early 2022, Bitgert launched its BRC-20 blockchain network featuring a new proof-of-authority validation mechanism. The blockchain network is commonly referred to as Brise Chain or Bitgert.

Bitgert has partnered with various other projects, including DeFi protocol Knit Finance, Miidas NFT Marketplace, and the decentralized exchange platform SPYNX Labs.

How Does Bitgert Work?

The Brise Chain depends on a proof-of-authority (PoA) structure that provides quick block times and cheap fees. While Bitgert prides itself on being a “zero gas fee” chain, users still have to pay small transaction fees to use this blockchain. These fees are usually a fraction of a cent per transaction, paid in the BRISE token.

Bitgert also supports smart contracts, and with its Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) compatibility, the project shares a significant level of interoperability with the Ethereum blockchain, allowing other projects launched on Ethereum or other EVM-backed chains to migrate to the Brise Chain.

Bitgert is also available as a beta application on the Google Play Store for Androids and the Apple App Store.

Main Features of Bitgert: Zero Cost, Bitgert dApps and Dual-Chain Communication

Bitgert offers a plethora of innovative features to tempt users. These include:

PoA consensus

With a proof of authority consensus, a select group of blockchain members is granted the power to validate transactions and other activities on the blockchain ecosystem. This helps ensure that chain finality and stability are secured. This system also supports a short block time of 15 seconds and lower fees, enabling Bitgert’s zero costs and high speeds.

Dual-chain communication

The Bitgert blockchain is equipped with dual-chain communication, so it can efficiently communicate with other blockchains supported by the Bitgert ecosystem alongside external blockchains like Ethereum.

Projects running with a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism and operating on two or fewer blockchains usually have higher transaction fees. This is due to direct factors like increased computational power, high network activity/congestion, or block size. It could also be due to indirect factors like energy consumption and operational costs. Therefore, the Bitgert project running with a proof of authority consensus and featuring cross-chain communication drastically reduces the need for high transaction fees. In Bitgert’s case, it is reduced to the barest minimum.

Bitgert’s Main Features: Paybrise, Geo Web3, Startup Studio, Exchange and P2P Marketplace

Bitgert ecosystem is still in its early stages, but it has shown its potential to become one of the leading blockchain projects in the crypto space. To this end, Bitgert has developed an ecosystem that caters to investors, users, and developers alike. Here are some of the key features of the Bitgert ecosystem.

Paybrise

This is the payment gateway businesses set up to allow customers to pay with BRISE tokens. It is a straightforward and easy-to-use service, making it ideal for small and medium-scale enterprises.

To initiate the payment process, Paybrise generates a unique order for each transaction. Each payment can be identified by an orderId, which Paybrise uses to fetch information about the payment or as a reference key for every initiated transaction. Each order Id created by a merchant is accessible on the merchant portal, and the merchant can take action on it if required.

Geo Web3 Real Estate Marketplace

This marketplace was created to revolutionize the world of real estate transactions through decentralized technology. The platform went live on June 25, 2023, and it was built on the Brise Chain and allows users to buy or sell real property using BriSE tokens. However, it is still under development but offers a promising avenue as many crypto projects are yet to break into the real estate market.

Bitgert Startup Studio

This project is designed to help crypto startups raise investor capital on Bitgert through smart contract-driven token sales. When the Bitgert team finds a project with much potential, their tokens would then be paired with the BRISE token and listed on the Bitgert DEX for more investors to buy. The Bitgert team has already launched over 15 projects, and more are expected to join the Bitgert ecosystem every month.

Exchange

The bitgert exchange was launched in 2022 and offers more functionality as opposed to just regular cryptocurrency purchases and sales. It is one of the fastest-growing and most reliable crypto trading platforms, helping to increase economic freedom worldwide. The Bitgert exchange facilitates transfers and offers more payment solutions, enabling more sophisticated crypto transactions.

P2P Marketplace

Bitgert hosts a P2P marketplace where users can trade various digital assets with ease and security, without any need for intermediaries. With Bitgert’s p2p marketplace, users get free shipping for their orders. Their money is secured with escrow protection, as their order payments are locked in an escrow smart contract. This ensures that all conditions of the purchase are fulfilled, and users can get their money back should any error occur.

Other products Bitgert offers include:

Bitgert Wallet: It is a crypto wallet that supports BRC20, ERC20, and BEP20 tokens. It is also available on both Android and IOS operating systems, and includes network protocols that establish an encrypted tunnel allowing log-ins on a computer and securing the data transfer process.

The Bitgert Audit Platform: This platform allows all crypto projects to request a blockchain audit which would be delivered within 48 hours at no cost. However, no metrics used for the audits are disclosed, and interestingly enough, all audits posted by Bitgert show nearly identical security ratings and other audit details. You can check the platform here.

BRISE Swap: This is a decentralized exchange (DEX) powered by the Binance Smart Chain and serves as an alternative to PancakeSwap.

The Bitgert team is also building its own bridging app to link with larger blockchain projects, and until then users are advised to use bridges like Multichain, IcecreamSwap, and Sphynx Bridges to swap their assets.

Bitgert Ecosystem

Bitgert features several dApps ranging from DeFi dApps to dApps related to NFTs, DEX, Launchpad, Bridges, and Metaverse & Games. The DeFi section includes projects like Footprint Analytics, Planet Hares, Shield Protocol, and others. Over in the NFT sector, there are projects like Mintpad, Gems Town, and XP Network. Bitgert works with several Decentralised Exchanges (DEX) like Brise Swap, Vefi and AmpleSwap.

Launchpads include Starter, Gempad, Brisepad, and Pandasale. Bridges like Multichain, 03Swap, and PolyNetwork help create solid links with other blockchain platforms. Bitgert also provides a platform for games hosted on the metaverse, featuring projects like Axle Games, Diviner Protocol, and GGSlayer.

What is BRISE?

BRISE is the native currency of the Brise Chain. It was initially launched as a Binance Smart Chain token when Bitgert was a blockchain application hosted on Binance. When Bitgert then launched its own blockchain, BRISE was also issued as the BRC-20 native currency on the Brise Chain, although the project still has a token address on the BSC for the token.

Bitgert plans to replace the entire BSC-based BRISE supply with the BRISE version native to the Bitgert chain. To do this, Bitgert has implemented a buyback program to purchase and burn BSC-based tokens.

Bitgert also offers a staking system, where BRISE holders can stake their tokens to earn rewards in BUSD. Coincidentally, it is also another sub-project of Bitgert. Bitgert charges little to nothing for gas fees but a 12% transaction fee for staking. Of this 12%, 5% goes into the buyback mechanism, 4% goes to holders, and 3% goes to the project’s marketing.

Holders can stake BRISE on both the BNB Chain and the Brise Chain. Users can stake for 30, 60, 90, and 180 days. While the principal staked amount will be locked throughout the chosen staking period, users may withdraw the interest accrued at anytime. Another great feature of BRISE’s staking system is the absence of minimum staking requirements. That is, users can begin staking with the littlest of amounts.

Asides from staking, the BRISE token has other use cases, including making payments on the Bitgert platform, payment of transaction fees for executing smart contracts, granting holders access to participate in airdrops and other promotions, and voting on governance proposals.

BRISE Tokenomics

The BRISE token has a market cap of $126 million, a circulating supply of 395,688.215,721,653 tokens, a total supply of 427,063,549,263,988 tokens, and a max supply of 1 quadrillion BRISE tokens. BRISE’s tokenomics are structured to incentivize long-term holding and will be distributed as follows:

  • 50% will be allocated to an initial burn
  • 38% will go to Liquidity
  • 7% will be assigned to future development and marketing
  • 5% will be given to the development team

News on BRISE

By July 30, 2023, Bitgert plans to launch a huge promotion campaign to highlight the potential of BRISE. The campaign is set to be the biggest promotion campaign in the history of the cryptocurrency industry, with 400 YouTubers and Twitter influencers on board to promote the project.

Bitgert has also made several new partnerships and strategic investments, per their weekly report. These include integrations with DexCheck_io, a next-generation NFT-AI crypto tool founded by ChainGPT, Elk Finance, a DeFi gateway, and Band Protocol, a secure and scalable cross-chain DEX.

Bitgert also plans to hit several milestones in its roadmap, such as launching a decentralized freelancer mainnet, and launching a layer 1 blockchain integration on web 3.0 Oracle.

Is BRISE a Good Investment?

While Bitgert offers lightning-fast transaction speeds without gas fees, users have begun asking questions about the project. These issues are primarily related to the Bitgert founders’ identities, audits on the platform, and the project’s charity outreach. Nonetheless, It’s always best to do your research or consult qualified personnel especially when dealing with projects like Bitgert.
