How to trade leveraged token on Gate.io（APP version）

Gate.io Leveraged Tokens are a type of derivative products that provide you leveraged exposure to the underlying asset. Just like the spot tokens, leveraged tokens can be traded on the spot market. Each leveraged token represents a basket of perpetual contract positions. The price of a leveraged token moves along with price changes in the perpetual contract market, and the leverage level moves up and down accordingly.

This article will help you get on the journey to leverage token trading on Gate.io from step one. In the following, we will explain the trading process of leveraged token on the APP version in the easiest and simplest way.

Application （Android example）
Step 1: Log in with Gate.io UID and see the homepage of the Gate.io APP.

Step 2: Click on the 'Trade' button on the bottom and enter the spot trading page.

Step 3: Select 'ETF' on the menu and you can see the whole list of leveraged tokens.

Step 4: You can type in the token name you want to trade on the search box.

Step 5: The order book is on the left side of the page, showing the real-time prices from taker and giver.

Step 6: The candlestick logo and 'Charts' in the menu below will both help you to check out the real time price trend of the token, where you can do the customized setting exactly like the website version.

The candlestick in red and green represents the rise and fall at a specific time. The Purple line is representing the real-time price trending of the corresponding spot token.

Step 7: When you are using the 'Limit Order' function, you can put in the limit price and amount to buy or sell.

Step 8: After you put in the price and amount, a confirm window will pop up as below. Make sure the information is correct and click 'OK' to buy or sell.

Step 9: Input your password and the order will be placed. You can find your placed order in the 'Orders' in the menu. The percentage in the below means the amount completed sell/buy, which can help you to check how much of the proportion you bought/ sold.

Step 10: Except for limit order, you can select conditional order or time condition to place orders for leveraged token.

To track these kinds of placed orders, you can select conditional order or time condition from the drop down menu under 'Orders'.

Step 11: When the order is successful, your trade order will appear in your trade history with all the information.

Step 12: To check your leveraged token assets, you can click on the spot account tab, under the wallet tab.

Your spot and leveraged assets will be displayed here. From that information, you can check the amounts you owned, the price/costs of the tokens and how much profits you had for today.
