## Who is WAGMI Games?

WAGMI Games is a web3 transmedia franchise bridging the gap between blockchain technology and traditional gaming. We are a non-VC funded, bootstrapped company with a passionate community that believes in our vision and understands where we are headed.

Our first title, WAGMI Defense, is a mobile strategy game similar to Clash Royale and is poised to hit the app stores imminently. It is one of the first mobile apps in the world to accept fiat for purchases of in-app NFTs (in-game items). The company is not only focused on one game but is also expanding into comic books, physical and digital collectibles, films, TV series, and anime.

WAGMI Games boasts a powerful leadership team with CEO Ian Bentley at the helm. Ian’s vast experience in building businesses has allowed WAGMI Games to reach its current status. He exited his previous company in a $20M+ acquisition and later co-founded WAGMI Games along with 3 other co-founders. Fast forward 12 months, industry legend and former Director of Operations at Electronic Arts, Brent Pease, decided to join WAGMI Games as COO/General Manager, bringing with him multiple high-level execs, advisors, and AAA talent, including Esteban Gil, Lead Product Manager at Respawn Entertainment. The WAGMI Games team is hungry for success and has vowed not to rest a single day until they achieve their goal summarized in the franchise’s quote, “We Are All Going To Make It!”

WAGMI Summer is our time. We have been building for 19 months throughout a bear market and now we’ve come out on the other side stronger than ever and with more than a few things to show for it.

In fact, we have prepared an endless bombardment of major catalysts, advisors, announcements, and partnerships along with extremely aggressive marketing and PR that is going to hit the market really soon. We also have a very powerful catalyst that will be announced soon, which we believe will make the WAGMI Games name heard across the entire web3 space, as well as the entire world. Stay tuned!
## Where do you see your company in 2-5 years?

We are actively building to become the "Marvel of Web3". We are not just building a singular game; that would make us a mobile game studio. We are a web3 entertainment franchise, and we are building towards expanding into the entertainment sector, which includes comic books, physical collectibles, streetwear, and, in the future, anime, TV series, and films. We aim to become the world’s leading web3 project in the GAMING sector and be among the first to achieve mass adoption and a global presence.

It is true that web3 gaming has seen a decline over the last 12-15 months, and for a good reason. There have been no games that are anywhere close to a global launch, and even if there were, it would be impossible to achieve mass adoption because of the high barriers to entry and what we like to call "friction."

Traditional gamers do not enjoy being asked to create a wallet, hold NFTs, buy metaverse land, or even create an account to play a game. In fact, they run from it. The future of web3 gaming is free-to-play, and we have been building exactly that. We believe that once gamers are able to see that a web3 game is no different than any of their favorite games, but they can actually own their in-game assets on top of everything else, that's when web3 gaming is going to explode. We foresee that a huge web3 gaming boom will happen in the next 1-3 years, and we are perfectly positioned to claim a substantial share of that pie.
