## 1. What is Futures Voucher?
Futures Voucher can be redeemed for account funds to open positions within actual futures trading.
Futures Voucher is only available in USDT perpetual futures market, and can be used to open positions as margin, deduct funding and trading fees.
Futures Voucher can not be withdrawn. The loss caused by the transaction is not borne by the user, and the profit will be transferred to Futures Account / Unified Account automatically after the position is closed.

### How to Redeem
The Futures Voucher in Vouchers needs to be manually redeemed and deposited into the account. After the successful deposit reminder, you can use it on the trading page.

### How to Use
Please switch to the Futures Voucher Mode after the voucher is successfully deposited, and then you can open positions with Futures Voucher.
The trading rules are completely consistent with the actual market in Futures Voucher Mode.

### Redemption Notices
1. Futures Voucher needs to be redeemed and used before the specified expiration time, after which it will be void.
2. Each Futures Voucher has a specified validity period. and the countdown begins at the time of deposit. When the validity period expires, the voucher will expire immediately and the remaining positions will be closed at market price. If there is any profit after closing positions, it will be automatically transferred to your Futures Account / Unified Account in one lump sum.
3. You can only redeem one Futures Voucher at a time, multiple deposits are not supported. If you have more than one voucher, you can make a deposit after the funds have used up or the expiry date has been counted down.
4. The funds in Futures Voucher and the funds in your own account are independent of each other. You need to switch to Futures Voucher Mode before using Futures Voucher.
5. You can check the markets that support opening positions with Futures Voucher and the maximum leverage on the trading page. Gate.io will make adjustments according to market conditions without prior notice.
6. Futures Voucher is non-refundable once expired or destroyed. Please keep an eye on the expiration time.
7. Futures Voucher can not be transferred in or out. It is only available in some markets of USDT Perp and is not supported by bots or copy trading services.

### View Return Transfer
At the expiration of the Futures Voucher, the system will close all positions at market price.
After deducting fees, if the account balance is greater than the value of the Futures Voucher, the return will be transferred to Futures Account / Unified Account, and you can see [Futures Voucher Return Transfer] in Transaction History.

## 3. Failure of Futures Voucher

### The following are the possible situations where the Futures Voucher deposit fails:
Futures Voucher account still has a balance.
Futures Voucher account balance is 0, but it has not reached the valid time or there are still open positions.
Futures Voucher has been spent, the countdown is over, but there are still positions in liquidation.

### The following are the possible situations where the Futures Voucher expires:
Not deposited before the specified expiration time.
The validity period ends, and the voucher expires.
User manually destroy voucher.

### Q1: Why did the futures account balance not increase after deposit?
The deposited funds will be credited to the segregated account. After switching to the Futures Voucher Mode, you will see the funds deposited into the account.

### Q2: Can I withdraw the Futures Voucher?
No. Futures Voucher can only be used for USDT Perp trading, and can not be transferred or withdrawn.

### Q3: The margin for opening a position is insufficient. Can I transfer my own funds to Futures Voucher account?
No. Futures Voucher accounts do not support transferring funds to other accounts. You can only use vouchers for trading or deducting fees.

### Q4: Why did the deposit fail?
The following are the reasons and solutions that may cause failed deposits:

Scenario 1: Futures Voucher account still has a balance.
Solution: If you want to continue depositing other vouchers, you need to destroy the voucher in use. Note: Once the voucher has been destroyed, it can not be returned. Be cautious.

Scenario 2: Futures Voucher account balance is 0, but it has not reached the valid time or there are still open positions.

Scenario 3: Futures Voucher has been spent, the countdown is over, but there are still positions in liquidation.
Solution: Liquidation positions are usually processed quickly. If your positions have been in liquidation for a long time, please ask Customer Support for help.
