MM Trial Period Application:
1. Users who have not met MM1 requirements, but have the last 30-day trading volumes of over 20,000,000 USD on the Gate.io Spot market can apply for a 30-day trial period, where the users will enjoy MM1 maker fee of -0.005% during this period.
2. If you are a market-maker on another exchange, you can apply for a 30-day MM+1 tier and VIP+1 tier trial period based on your last 30- day trading volume.

Spot Market Maker Competition Rewards

From the first day till the end of each month, Gate.io will rate the market makers' spot market-making performance on specific trading pairs on a daily basis. The following rewards will be given based on the monthly score ranking.

1. Reward MM Tier:
(1) Participate in monthly spot maker ranking every month. The top 75% of monthly users will be uniformly adjusted to a rate not lower than MM1 at the beginning of the following month.
(2) The monthly spot market-making scoring rules and the list of market-making trading pairs will be sent to you at the end of last month.
(3) Market makers who have participated in the assessment of spot or futures trading volume on Gate.io can also participate in this assessment plan. In the end, the system will take the best score between the two assessments and reward the market maker level.

2. Best spot trading market-maker of the quarter
Exclusive honorary certificates and personalized trophies will be issued to the top 10 market makers in quarterly market-making scores.
Gate.io will announce the results of the quarterly spot "Top 10 Market Makers" selection on the network (market makers can opt-in for public disclosure).

3. $2,000,000 monthly prize pool and VIP+1 benefits
(1) The competition includes a Progress Award for each market-maker whose spot trading volume of the current month net increases by 30% compared to the 30 days before the competition (the previous month) and reaches the corresponding target trading volume below.

For example: User Tom's spot trading volume in June was USD30,000,000. If user Tom's spot trading volume reached USD55,000,000 during the competition in July (a net increase of more than 30%), he would receive a USD1,000 reward. If he reached USD850,000,000, he would receive a USD10,000 reward.

(2) Users who receive progress awards every month can receive VIP+1 30-day benefits according to their latest corresponding VIP level in the following month.

Note:
(1) There is no limit on the number of Progress Awards distributed.
(2) The maximum VIP+1 tier for this Progress Award is VIP16.
(3) Net increase in spot trading volume for the month refers to the increase in spot trading volume of users for the month exceeding the increase in the total spot trading volume of Gate.io for the same period.
(4) Participation is limited to Real Name Market-Makers only.

4. Monthly interest-free loan quota
(1) Market-makers who rank in the top 10% of monthly market-making and have a net increase of 30% or more in spot trading volume for the month compared to the preceding month, will receive up to $10,000,000 in interest-free loan limit.
(2) Market-makers who rank in the top 50% of monthly market-making will receive a maximum loan limit of $10,000,000.

Notes

1. The user requires to register once to participate in this quarter's monthly competition. Users are required to register again for the next quarter's monthly competition. Registration in the current month's competition can participate in the current month's ranking.
