1What is GT?
The full name of GT is GateToken, which is both the Gate.io platform currency and the native token of the GateChain public chain.
On Gate.io, GT can be used to upgrade VIPs, deduct fees, participate in startup or voting activities and other platform activities.
In terms of GateChain, GT can be used as native fuel, all transactions need to use GT in order to be processed. The establishment of PoS mining nodes or the issuance of tokens also requires projects to hold GT.

2、How to solve the problem of MINA deposits not being received?

Due to the high cost of generating an address for MINA tokens (calculated at the time, it is the equivalent of $50 US dollars), the method of adding a memo transfer must be adopted. While some platforms do not support filling in the corresponding memo when withdrawing MINA, users who have not received the funds into their account need to submit a ticket to provide their UID, TXID and a screenshot of the transfer. The customer service will manually enter the account.

In order to generate the deposit address needed for users to receive their Mina, 1 Mina will be deducted from the users account.This approach has basically solved the problem for most users who were unable to deposit Mina with a memo. Gate.io will continue to try and find and implement better solutions to all problems.

3、What should I do if I cannot receive the SMS when logging in?

Due to the different conditions of network operators in various countries, sometimes it does happen that the SMS verification code cannot be received. If the problem is not resolved after repeated attempts, you can ask our online customer service or submit a ticket and ask why the SMS verification code is not being delivered. The technical department will then look into the issue for you.

In order to reduce the reliance on SMS verification, we strongly recommend users use Google OTP. In the future, Gate.io will also launch Gate Ukey hardware devices to provide a safer and more convenient verification method.

4、What should I do if I lose 2FA?

If there is a backup seed character phrase when binding OTP, you can manually import it into the APP again to restore normal use.

If there is no backup, and the mobile phone is lost or you cannot login to the APP , you need to submit a ticket and provide personal identification to the technical team, afterwards you can then manually unbind.
