Step 1: Log in the Gate.io with your UID. https://www.gate.io/

Step 2: Click on the Leveraged Tokens Option from the Trade drop-down menu.

Step 3: Find out your desired token and click the 'Trade' button. There are 3X and 5X leveraged tokens on Gate.io, which represents 3X leverage and 5X leverage for long and short strategy.

Step 4: Before trading, please make sure you have a good understanding of the risks before trading leveraged tokens and then check one the warning pop-up window.

Step 5: Select the suitable data frequency for yourself. Different frequencies might change the form of the K-line. The candlestick in red and green represents the rise and fall at a specific time. The purple line is representing the real-time price trending of the corresponding spot token.

Step 6: You can also change the option to simple or professional panel as your reference.

Step 7: The order book from the right side of the page, showing the real-time prices from taker and giver. You can also check the last price and net values in the middle.

Step 8: Select limit order to buy/sell leveraged token in limit prices. The left side is buy and the right side is sell. Choose the amount of buying/selling token, put in the target price and then click Buy/Sell.

Select the grid trading section to create strategy in smart grid mode or manually.

If you want to copy the smart grid, you just have to click 'fill the form on the right side'. After the click you can see the upper limit price and lower limit price and the amount of grids on the right side.

Step 9: After you put in the price and amount, a confirm window will pop up as below. Make sure the information is correct and click 'Confirm Order' to buy or sell.

Step 10: Input your password to process.

Step 11: When the order is successful, your trade order will appear in your trade history with all information.

Step 12: To check your leveraged token assets, you can click on “spot account” under wallet.

Step 13: Your spot and leveraged tokens assets will be displayed here.
