Gate.io, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced a few weeks back that they were sponsoring Brazilian racing duo — Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi. The brothers had historic races this past weekend in Le Mans and Formula 2, making Gate.io incredibly proud.
Pietro makes history in Le Mans
Pietro Fittipaldi is competing in the European Le Mans Series, driving for the Inter Europol Competition. This past weekend, during the race in Monza, Italy, Fittipaldi’s team started in P3 — the best result in team history. Unfortunately, during the race itself — Pietro’s teammate had a small accident, which was out of his control. As a result, the team couldn’t finish the race in the top 3.
Enzo starts and finishes in the top 3
Enzo Fittipaldi competes in Formula 2, racing for the Charouz Racing System. Enzo started in P2 and ended the race in P3, gaining a spot on the podium in the process, during the Silverstone Grand Prix this past weekend. It was an incredible race with tons of overtakes. Enzo was even leading the race at one point.
