According to IPFS Filecoin official, Filecoin mainnet is going to launch at block Epoch 148888, around October 15th, 2020. Gate.io will release the most possible FIL coin according to the IPFS team’s instruction based on actual condition later. One practice to implement the release is to change the current FIL (IOU) to FIL6 and list FIL at Gate.io when FIL mainnet goes live; then Gate.io will swap FIL6 to FIL regularly based on the released portion.
