On October 10, 2020, the "First Global Digital Asset Market Maker Competition and the Third Global Digital Asset Quantitative Trading Competition" co-organized by Gate.io and TokenInsight has come to a successful conclusion. This competition has successfully built an open communication platform for digital asset exchanges, investors and outstanding managers across the industry, attracted many teams to participate and discovered many outstanding market makers and quantitative teams.

During the competition, 92 registered teams have fully participated and Gate.io will provide all participants and winners with exclusive rates market maker competition and the asset management competition and generous prizes. All the participating teams in this competition are categorized into 2 division, the market maker competition and asset management competition , and 4 strategy groups according to the different standard units (BTC standard, USD/USDT standard) and strategy type (trend/composite, arbitrage) Out of all the participants, participants for the market maker competition accounted for 24.1% and 75.9%. for the asset management competition. Whereas, in the asset management competition, trend/composite strategy products accounted for 64% in total.

During the competition, our committee also selected the monthly champion of August. In the quantitative trading competition, TMaker won the double champion of the arbitrage strategy group (USDT, BTC), Sharpdata team won the trend/composite strategy group (BTC) champion, and DigiFinex asset management team won the trend/complex strategy group (USDT) champion. While, in In the market maker competition category, BitWex won the crypto trading group champion, and Ribuluo (日不落)team won the perpetual contract group champion.

After more than two months of extensive competition, the market maker and quantitative trading contest finally ended perfectly.
