Gate.io, one of the top international exchanges worldwide, has been working for years and contributing to the crypto industry in different areas of the crypto space. As previously mentioned, one of the objectives of this year 2023 is encouraging and enhacing crypto education in order to contribute not only among the Gate.io community but also within the global population. Gate.io exchange, together with its Gate Learn department, has launched a series of workshops in collaboration with different universities and institutions around the world.

In January 2023, Gate Learn launched together with the Mexico´s UNAM Faculty of Engineering a series of workshops focused on the basic principles of the crypto industry. During the first month of the year, the team shared a workshop entitled "Cryptos from Zero" (Criptos desde Cero in Spanish) to initiate those interested in crypto into the basic principles of the industry. Following this path, in February Gate Learn and UNAM will invite the community to join them in their second workshop: "Cryptos from Zero: Wallets" (Criptos desde Cero: Wallets in Spanish). During this second seminar, attendants will get and learn about the basic and key information regarding digital wallets, both cold and hot.  The main goal with this workshop is to provide relevant and major knowledge and principles to follow in order to keep their funds and investments safe within the crypto space.

We want these crypto education workshops to reach as many communities as possible."

This second workshop with the University of Mexico is the continuation of the series that Gate Learn started in January 2023, and it is set for February 7th. Gate.io has been working on its education programs for months, they hope to be able to provide great quality content to the crypto industry. As mentioned above, it will be focused on Digital Wallets and its connection with the crypto industry. The knowledge of how and where to keep your funds is essential not only for beginners but for everyone in the space. Such educational and informative content is even more important now, since the number of scams and phishing in the crypto market has increased considerably.

In the following months throughout the first half of the year, there will be more workshops covering other essential topics. Relevant key points of blockchain technology, introduction to the DeFi world, NFTs and e-Gaming among other topics will be touched on later on in the following seminars.
