Following the scheduled BitcoinCash (BCH) hard fork at block height #661648, BCH Node and nodes compatible with its protocol implementation won widespread support, using the symbol “ BCH”. BCHA（also known as BCHABC）currently receives much smaller hashing power as it failed to win a majority of the community support. Gate.io now support both chains, BCHA and BCH. BCHA, the token on the BCHABC chain has been distributed as “sweet”of the fork to original BCH holders based on the snapshot of November 15th, 12:00 AM. You may go to Billing Details to view the distribution records.
Gate.io has now enabled the BCH and BCHA deposits; their withdrawals will be available at a later time as their networks are running more stably. At Gate.io, we have a mechanism in place to protect against replay attack. When you are sending your BCH or BCHA to gate.io, you can do so with peace of mind. If both of the assets are sent when you just want to send one, both of them will be credited. No asset will be lost.
