How to Obtain Identity Verification as an Organization

Please prepare the following documents for Corporate Verification:
1. Certificate of Incorporation
2. Letter of Authorization
3. Company ownership structure (showing the organization chart of all ultimate beneficiaries)
4. Register of Shareholders / Certificate of Incumbency/ Business Registry or equivalent to verify the UBO
5. Identification documents of directors, authorized representatives, and all ultimate beneficiaries (showing the ownership percentage or holding of over 25%)
1. Log into your Gate.io account and click on the profile icon in the upper right corner. Then click "KYC (Identification)" - "Enterprise Verification" - "Verify Now".
2. On the "Company Information" page, fill in the required fields, including entity name, registration number, entity type, nature of business, country of registration, and registered address. Then click on "Next" or "Information on temporary".
3. On the "Related Parties" page, add information (including names and ID photos) for "Director(s) or Equivalent Persons", "Authorized Person", and "Ultimate Beneficial Owner(s) or Significant/Actual Controller(s)". After completing the form, click on "Next" or "Information on temporary". You can also click on "Previous" to make changes to the information already filled in.
4. On the "Upload Documents" page, upload the certificate of incorporation, ownership structure, letter of authorization, and register of shareholders/certificate of incumbency/business registry or equivalent to verify the UBO. After uploading all the required documents, click on "Submit" or "Information on temporary". You can also click on "Previous" to make changes to the information already filled in.
5. Read the "Corporate Verification Statement" carefully, check the box to confirm the accuracy of the information provided, and then click on "Complete" to finish the verification process. Your application will then be reviewed by the Gate.io team.
Notice:
1. Enterprise verification involves three steps, including filling in basic company information, adding related parties, and uploading documents. Please read the instructions carefully before filling out the forms or uploading documents, and ensure that all information provided is accurate and meets the requirements.
2. Only one type of identity verification can be selected for the same account. It is not supported to be verified as an individual in the first place and later as an organization, or make changes after verification.
3. It usually takes 1 to 2 working days for enterprise verification to be reviewed. Please strictly follow the instructions when uploading documents about enterprise information.
4. Enterprise verification is not supported on the app yet.
5. The corporation(judicial person) should hold a Gate account with KYC2 completed.
