Gate NFT Launches World Cup-Themed Events with $60,000 Total in Prize Pools

Thirty-two nations are competing in the 2022 World Cup hosted in Qatar, the first such event ever held in the Middle East. To unite the crypto community while everyone roots for their teams, crypto exchange Gate.io has launched two World Cup-themed events with a total of $60,000 in the max prize pools. The events are taking place on Gate NFT, Gate.io's NFT launchpad and marketplace, from November 20 to December 19.

Starting November 20, users can choose a World Cup team to support on Gate NFT and earn points by completing activities and tasks. Ultimately, teams with the highest rankings will share a max prize pool of $10,000. Additionally, participants in this event will earn entries into a random draw contest containing exclusive NFTs and token prizes.
Also, Gate NFT is hosting a fantasy football event with a max cumulative prize pool of $50,000. In this event, traders can obtain different NFTs from the 2022 Fantasy Football collection, with each NFT representing one of 32 nations. This event will feature five rounds, one for each stage of the World Cup; knockout stage, round of 16, quarter-finals, third place play-off, and the final stage. For every round, the prize pool will be shared by participants that hold NFTs of winning teams.
