As of 12:00 GMT, Bitcoin’s spot price was $32051.99 and Ether’s price was $1823.83. Bitcoin’s price experienced a decline yesterday after several failed attempts to break through pressure points, ending a two-day retracement of the rising state. Currently, Bitcoin’s price is back near $32,000 and the market is showing a weakening trend. On the one-hour timeframe, Bitcoin price is making a local bottoming. In the short term Bitcoin’s price is likely to drift between $33,100 and $36,500. Today's bitcoin price resistance point is around $33,000, which will change to $34,000 if a price breakout can be achieved.

The first Bitcoin ETF under regulation, Purpose Bitcoin ETF continues to buy bitcoins regardless of the falling price. Since May.15, it has bought an average of 86.15 bitcoins every day. Until June.24, it now owns 21,214 bitcoins with a value of $720 million.

In a live event hosted by Brazilian banking association Febraban, the chief of Brazil central bank Roberto Campos Neto said that the idea of a digital currency still raises more questions than answers. He mentioned that Brazil is making progress on studies in launching a digital currency, and he hoped to announce a more detailed time frame later this year.

On Friday, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) issued a directive about the registration and operating conditions of crypto service providers. The directive is set to comply with the recent transposition of AMLD5 measures taken in the European Union to combat Anti Money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
