Gate.io will conduct upgrading and scaling for its spot trading engine on April 3rd, starting at 22：40 UTC+8. We expect that this process will take about 5 minutes. During the process of upgrading, there will be service interruption from a few seconds to a few minutes. If you are using our API, please adjust your strategies beforehand. For website users and APP users, you may try again a few minutes later if you experience any service unavailability during this period of time.
1) This upgrade aims to:
Scale up the spot trading engine’s capacity
Optimize the spot trading engine’s performance
2) Services that will be affected during this upgrade include：
Spot trading and margin trading
Assets transfers between accounts (e.g, transfers from spot account to margin account or futures account)
C2C fiat trading
Deposits and withdrawals
Spot accounts balance displaying
3) Services unaffected during this upgrade include：
Futures trading
Lending
Crypto posts, chat room, livestream programmes
Grid trading strategies will be restored after a very short interruption, which will be almost unaffected.
After this upgrade, we will be able to provide you a better trading experience. Thank you for your understanding and continuous support
