To provide professional traders and market makers a better trading experience when using API, Gate.io has upgraded its trading engine. After this upgrade, the trading engine will have
1) Enhanced performance. It will not keep a permanent record for canceled (unfilled) orders, instead, it will allow querying such orders within a certain period of time (60 seconds) for a double check, and no record will be found beyond the 60 seconds
2) For API v4 ( for Spot and future trading), requests for canceling orders will have a separate frequency limit (300 times per second), allowing for canceling orders even if when placing order requests hit the limit. This way, the traders can reduce their risks of unwanted position
