Gate.io will launch products today that allow locking BTC, ETH, and USDT to earn a high passive earning of 9% APR from liquidity mining. Launch time: September 29th, at 4:00 AM UTC. Products: Lock BTC to Earn BTC From DeFi, Lock ETH to Earn ETH From DeFi, Lock USDT to Earn USDT From DeFi. BTC lockup position is capped at 300 BTC. ETH will be capped at 10,000 ETH, and USDT will be capped at 3,000,000 USDT. The lockup term is 7 days and the annualized yield is estimated 9%.

1. Lockup term: 7 days
2. Interest and principal will be distributed at the end of the lockup term.

Example:
If Sean has participated in holding USDT to earn product (no lockup required) from September 8th to September 15th, he is still eligible to participate in locking BTC to earn with a product (lockup product) from September 10th to the 17th. But Sean is not eligible for holding USDT to earn during September 10th to September 17th.
Important notice:
Locking your asset for a certain term is required. Your asset and interest will not be available until the end of the lockup term. If there is any price fluctuation on the market, you are unable to unlock and trade immediately. And the interest received may not be sufficient to cover the loss caused by the price change.
