Jane: Gate.io provide this bonus as the benefit for new&old users to operate Perpectual Contract without risk. The users can take it as the minimum cost to open an order and to earn the profit. Just like you earn it without any input, Gate.io will bear this for you.

Dan: How to get and use perpetual contract bonus?

Jane:

1.You can get it from the event and we will issue it by USDT or BTC.

2.Users can check the bonus in the contract trading page-assets or wallet-contract account;

3.Perpetual contract bonus can be directly serving as a contract trade margin and to deduct account losses, trade fees and funding fees.

Dan: How perpetual contract bonus work?

Jane:

1.Gate.io perpetual contract bonus will be deducted as the priority after create an order.

2.Not all the profit obtained from the bonus can be transferred or withdrew.

Example：

User A’s account has its own 50 USDT funds and 100 USDT perpetual contract bonus. After the first transaction is closed, the loss of 80 USDT will be first deducted with the perpetual contract bonus. The remaining perpetual contract bonus is 20 USDT, and the own funds 50 USDT remains unchanged. After the position is closed again, the profit will be 20 USDT, and the perpetual contract bonus will remain unchanged at 20 USDT, while the own funds will be changed to 70 USDT, and the profit from the position can be transferred.

Dan: What are the limitations of the perpetual contract bonus?

Jane:

1.The bonus itself cannot be transferred or withdrew; only the partial profit earned from it can be transferred or withdrew.

2.The bonus will keep valid for 30 days upon the receipt. When it's not be used under any order in 30 days, it will automatically be cleared.

3.The bonus is only supported in certain contract markets. In the event that there is an unfilled order or position in market that does not support the bonus, the bonus can only be received after the order is canceled or the position is closed.During valid 30 days, placing the trade pairs out of below list will not be allowed. Supported trade pairs are as follows:

BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, LINK/USDT, DOT/USDT, SHIB/USDT, XRP/USDT, LUNA/USDT, EOS/USDT, DOGE/USDT, ADA/USDT, LTC/USDT, SUSHI/USDT, UNI/USDT, BSV/USDT, FIL/USDT, BNB/USDT, ALICE/USDT, AXS/USDT, BCH/USDT/ ,CRV/USDT；

Example

User A has 100USDT perpetual contract bonus in his account and holds a BTC/USDT position through contract trading which occupies 80USDT of the perpetual contract bonus without position liquidation. After the perpetual contract bonus expires after 30 days, the unused perpetual contract bonus 20USDT in the account will be automatically cleared.
