On May 16, the Sandbox released the 2022 LAND holders’ roadmap, and the official said it would airdrop 5 million SAND to all LAND holders in May.
It is understood that the Sandbox's LAND and ASSET will be transferred to Polygon Layer 2 in June 2022. In order to encourage the transfer and reduce gas costs, each piece of LAND can apply for a cash return of 10 SAND on Polygon, with a total of more than 1 million SAND rewards. After deployment, the staking multipliers of SAND and SAND-MATIC will reappear on Polygon Layer 2.
Then, in July 2022, Sandbox will begin to provide land holders participating in the staking with an exclusive reward of 10 million SAND. In addition, GEM and CATALYST mining will open in June 2022, allowing LAND holders to start the creator economy.
