How to claim and use quant trial funds?

## 1. What is quant trial funds?

The quant trial funds can be used as a margin for quantitative trading (appliable in spot and part of contract markets), to offset account losses, trading fees and funding costs. The purpose of Gate.io quant trial funds is to let new and old users experience  quantitative products without the risk of suffering losses.

## 2. Quant Trial Funds Instructions

1) Gate.io quant trial funds will be distributed directly
2) Users can earn quant trial funds by participating in designated activities.
3) Users can check the quant trial funds they earn by accessing “Wallet” - “Quantitative Account”.
4) The quant trial funds can be used directly as a margin for quantitative trading or to offset account losses, trading fees, and funding costs.
5) Users can only use quant trial funds to participate in quantitative trading.
6)  Quant trial funds is divided into "follower’s trial funds" and "creator’s trial funds". As the name implies, "follower’s  trial funds" can only be used by the strategy followers, while "creator’s trial funds" is only available to strategy creators.

## 3. How to use quant trial funds to deduct the fee?

1）If there are quant trial funds available in the account, it will be used first to pay fees.
2）The profit earned on investment made by the quant trial funds can be transferred out.

Example
Suppose user A has 50 USDT and 100 USDT quant trial funds in his account and suffers an 80 USDT loss in an investment.  The quant trial funds will be deducted first to cover the loss, so there will be 20 USDT quant trial funds, and 50 USDT left after the deduction. If the user earns 20USDT in the next investment, the quant trial funds will remain unchanged, i.e. 20 USDT, and the self-owned fund will be increased to 70USDT, and the profit can be transferred out.

## 4. Are there any limitations on the use of contract bonuses?
1）The quant trial funds cannot be transferred out.
2) The quant trial funds should be used 7 days after being claimed. Any contract bonus unused upon expiry (after 7 days) will be taken back, which may result in the liquidation of the position.
3) Quant trial funds can only be used in quantitative trading (applicable in spot, and part of contract markets)

## 5. How to claim quant trial funds?
1) Log in to your Gate.io account, and click "Me”- “Reward Center” in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

2)  For quant trial funds received, you may check the type, applicable market, amount, validity period, usage rules, etc. of it.

3)  Click "Try Now" to go to the corresponding page and use it.

4) You can also view the quant trial funds you have earned in postions indicated in the below.

## 6.The platform has the right to require compensation and deal with the relevant accounts if any user is found to maliciously arbitrage quant trial funds.

## 7.Gate.io reserves the final interpretation right of the quant trial funds.
