How to Reset Fund Password & Customize Frequency of Resets
When trading, entering the fund password is usually the last step. If you forget your fund password, you can reset it by following the instructions below.
How to reset fund password
On website:
Log in to your account. Move your
cursor on the profile icon on top right and go to "Security verification". Scroll down to
"Password Manage" - "Fund password" and click on "Change" on the right.

Input information and modify it as
required; If you forget your old password, please click "Forget password" to reset the fund

You can choose to either "Reset
by mail" or "Reset by phone number". Just follow the instructions and complete the

On app：
Open Gate.io mobile app and log in to your account. Click on the top-left profile icon and go to "Security Center" - "Fund password (change)".

Note:
1.Your account can not engage in withdrawal or fiat currency trading within 24 hours after a fund password reset.
2.If you forget the old fund password, you can reset it only on the Gate.io website.
3.If you have the old fund password, you can reset it on website and mobile app.
How to set the frequency of fund password resets
Step-by-step instructions on resetting frequency of changing fund password on Web:
Log in to your account on Gate.io
website. Place your cursor on the top-right profile icon and go to "Security verification".
Scroll down to "Password
Manage" - "Fund password". Click on the tiny triangle symbol right next to "Change"
to set the frequency of password resets - one hour, every time, never. 
Step-by-step instructions on resetting frequency of changing fund password on App:
Log into your Gate.io account on App. Click the user icon on the top-left corner, then click "Security Center" - "Fund Password".
On the "Change Fund Password" page, click "Fund Password Frequency" to select the frequency (1 hour/Always/Never) you preferred.
