Gate.io futures provide customizable chart functions and trading tools, allowing you to customize every detail of the trading page.

## Web Version

On the futures trading page, click the Settings icon in the upper right corner to perform basic futures settings.

### USDT-Settled Contracts

#### Note (The following adjustments will apply to all contracts.)

1. Select the position mode: one-way mode (which allows only one position in one side in each contract) and hedge mode (which allows for holding positions in opposite sides at the same time in each contract. The margin of the two positions are independent of each other under hedge mode.) 
2. Order Confirmation: Choose to enable or not the "Limit Order", "Market Order", "Conditional Order", “Close All”, “Quick Reverse”, “Cancel All Orders” features at your will.
Once enabled, the confirmation window will pop up every time you submit the corresponding operation.
3. Choose whether to enable the transaction alerts (sound).  
If turned on, you will not be notified of transactions (with a sound).
4. Choose whether to enable price deviation protection. 
Once it is turned on, no take-profit or stop loss order will be sent to the market in the case that the deviation between last price and the mark price exceeds a preset threshold. The price deviation protection doesn’t work for orders placed using API. 
5. Choose whether to enable the trigger notice of SL/TP order and funding payment.
Notifications will be sent via Email and SMS when a SL/TP order is triggered or each fee is charged.
6. Set up the fund password.
After clicking, you can go to the fund password setting page. The fund password is used for withdrawal and transaction at Gate.io.

#### Note (The following adjustments will apply to all contracts.)

1. The settings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are the same as those of contracts settled in USDT.
2. Added 7: Adjust the BTC unit.
You can choose from BTC (1 BTC = 1,000 mBTC = 1,000,000 μBTC), mBTC (millibitcoins) and μBTC (microbitcoins)

### Layout Settings

Click "Layout" to set your customized layout.

1. You can customize the theme, rise/fall color and order mode according to your personal preferences.

2.You will see switches of "Quick Order", “Markets”, “Market Information”, Charts”, “Orderbook&Trades", “Order”, "Submit Order", "Assets". You can disable the one you don't want to be shown on your page, or just reset to default settings by clicking "Restore to Default".

3.Move the modules by dragging theicon in the upper right corner.

4.Zoom in/out the module by pulling the icon in the lower right corner. Take the “Orderbook" as an example.

#### Note (The following adjustments will apply to all contracts.)

1. Contract unit settings: Unit can be calculated either by currency or by the number of contracts.
2. Select the position mode: one-way mode (which allows only one position in one side in each contract) and hedge mode (which allows for holding positions in opposite sides at the same time in each contract. The margin of the two positions are independent of each other under hedge mode.)
