The first Kusama Slot Auction officially started on June 15 at 8:00 Beijing time (GMT 12:00 6/15/2021). Gate.io simultaneously opened the "Lock up KSM & Earn，Join Kusama Slot Auction!" on June 15 at Gate.io HODL & Earn. Users could lock up their KSM position to contribute to a supported project and earn prizes in the on-chain prize pool of the bidding project.
The results of the first slot auction are now available. Congratulations to Karura for winning the first Kusama Parallel Chain Slot Auction from several projects that were up for bid!
Gate.io will automatically distribute KAR rewards to users who have participated in the Lock-up KSM ＆ Earn KAR Project, totaling
Contribution bonus, 10800 KAR
Auction kickoff bonus, 240 KAR
Referral bonus, 1080 KAR
*The rewards will be paid out according to the project's arrangement and the actual on-chain rewards for the users over a total period of about 1 year.
At the same time, the KSM of Lock-up KSM ＆ Earn KAR Project participants will be locked until the end of the slot lease period (once the chain is unlocked in advance, we will also unlock it earlier for the participants).
