Gate.io has launched XAUG perpetual contract trading settled in USDT. The composite indexes of XAUT and PAXG, two gold-backed tokens, are adopted for XAUG. Traders can earn profits by going long or short with 1-20x leverage.

The composite indexes of XAUT and PAXG, two gold-backed tokens, are adopted for XAUG. XAUT is a digital asset offered by TG Commodities Limited. One XAUT token represents one troy fine ounce of gold on a London Good Delivery gold bar. Each PAXG token is backed by one fine troy ounce of a 400-ounce London Good Delivery gold bar, stored in Brink’s vaults. The value of PAXG is pegged directly to the real-time market value of the physical gold.
