1.On the Gate.io app, click "P2P Trade" or "P2P" on the "Markets" page or "P2P" on the "Wallet" page.

2.After entering the fiat trading page, click "..." on the top-right corner and select "Buy" or "Sell".

3.On the "Buy" page, you can choose different trading pairs to trade. Enter the price, quantity and volume in the corresponding fields and click "BUY NOW".

4.Once the order gets a match, you can check it under the “Merchant Orders” tab; you can cancel it before you get a match, simply click the “Cancel the order” or “Offline” or “Hide payment method”.

5.Once the order is matched, it will show under the “Merchant Order” -> “Paid/unpaid” tab.

6.Click “Waiting for Payment”, the page will show the seller’s payment method. You must complete the payment within 20 minutes, and use the information that has been provided to you, then click “Payment Completed” button. Then you will need to wait for the seller to release the fiat.

Note:

You must make a manual payment and click the “Confirm Payment” button within 20 minutes (the platform will not deduct automatically). Otherwise, the order will automatically get cancelled and the fiat will be returned to the seller’s account. If you do not follow this rule strictly, you may lose your money and fiat.
